The profiles here have been deemed acceptable by staff. They have met all the requirements, and the characters are being played. If you are a new member and aren't sure what we think is acceptable, read through these to get a pretty good idea. But don't copy anything. Also, be sure to take notice of the staff's comments on the profiles.

Obviously, everybody cannot have the same celebrity face claim, IM screen name, and cell phone number. This is where we claim things, so there are no doubles running around. It is optional, but recommended.

Admit it- you read it. It's human nature to want to know everything that's going on, right? With a little help from anonymous contributions, an equally anonymous entity regularly compiles a good summary of the juiciest things going on in Detroit.

Have a specific plot in mind that needs a certain other character to be made? Post here with all the necessary details, and someone will eventually bite. Be sure to include everything that you require, so people don't go into it blindly.

Oh, what fun! It's nice to have a general idea of what you would like to happen to your character in their future. Come here to ask for plots, share your ideas, or offer your character to be involved in someone else's plot. They can be short plots that last one or two posts, or plots that span the rest of the characters' lives.

There are numerous places to eat and drink in the city, ranging from bars to little cafe`s to Starbucks and ethnic foods. No matter what your tastes in food, you're sure to find something you'll like amongst the numerous places to eat in Detroit.

After the hustle and bustle of living in Detroit, everyone needs a place to just chill and hang out with friends. There are plenty of places around the city to do that, including (but not limited to) a mall and night club.

When an emergency happens, someone will be there to help. The Fire Station, Police Station, and Hospital are situated in the center of the city, ten minutes, tops, from any point in the city. Staff of all three buildings are ready to handle anything that comes their way.

Life's not all fun and games. Whether you're doing it willingly or being forced into it, education is important if you want to get somewhere in life. But hey, if it's any comfort, everything after high school is totally optional.

Whether or not your job requires physical fitness, keeping active and participating in sports activities is a big part of life. Inside are just a few of the many ways for people to get active, including paintball, swimming, and more.

Every city has a few places that are shadier than the rest of the city- places where crime is more common, or that just have a thicker air of general evil surrounding them. These places typically repel law-abiding citizens, and attract their polar opposites.

These are just some other interesting places and things to do for people- including an amusement park, a museum, and an aquarium. They're places for extra activities and things, so have fun around here.

Anywhere else. If there is somewhere you want to RP that doesn’t have its own board, post here. But make sure you say where it is, so people don’t get confused. It can be in or out of town, somewhere more or less populated. It doesn’t even have to be in the same country. Anywhere, really.

Almost everyone has been to one of these at some point in their lives. The fair is that one place that, even if you go once and don't go again for years, you remember the smell exactly the same. It's that strange combination of farm animals, funnel cakes, and grills. But food and animals aren't the only attractions. In the grand stand, there are all kinds of things throughout the two weeks the fair is in town: the demolition derby, horse shows, truck and tractor pull, auctions, and more. And, of course, there are rides everywhere- nothing like Six Flags, of course, since they have to be able to take them down, but several that are good for those who want to go fast and upside down.

*SEPTEMBER 1 - 14, 9AM TO 10PM DAILY*

It's only one night, but in that one night so much can happen! Every year, Coma White hosts a Halloween party. The only requirement is that you wear a costume. Because alcohol will be served, all those in attendance must show ID, and anyone under 21 will be turned away unless they wear a wristband clearly visible. There will be a costume contest, karaoke, Halloween-themed games, dancing and more.

This can be any apartment- big or small- anywhere in the city. They very greatly from one building to the other, with some being giant and others impossibly tiny. Some have one bedroom, others three, some have a balcony, others don’t. It all depends on what building you live in.

For those with more normal incomes, or that have not won the lottery or come across a large inheritance, there are the various communities. They are normal urban neighborhoods, with the typical homes; two or (sometimes) three floors, maybe a basement and attic as well, with small-to-medium-sized yards. They vary in color, but are all pretty close in size.

This small motel is “home” to both tourists who don’t want to stay at a resort, and locals who don’t want a house or regular apartment- or can't afford one. The rooms are either one or two beds, with bathrooms that have barely enough room to move, with a toilet, small shower/bathtub combo, and sink. It isn't the best place to live, especially if you don't live alone.

Admit it- RPGs aren't all about the characters. In the OOC area, there are plenty of things for the members to do while waiting for acceptance, or in-between RP posts. Come in here to request custom character pics, participate in a forum game or contest, or just chat with other members.

Here are our forum games and contests. Check back every once in a while for games such as "count to 1000", or contests with prizes. Anyone can start a game, but only staff may start contests. Contests will have prizes of varying degrees, from either a specially-formatted display name or something to that effect.
